LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

WHAT IS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE?

Advanced Lymphatic Detox Therapy (also called pressotherapy or pneumatic compression therapy) is a mechanical form of lymphatic drainage massage. During the session, the individual wears a full body garment (Upper and lower body) that applies pressure gradually using compressed air. Usually, these are leg sleeves/boots or arm sleeves, where pressure is applied in a gentle swirling, pulsating, rhythmic manner.

Compression therapy is utilized for lymphatic drainage and supporting the flow of the lymph fluid, which, unlike blood, does not have a “pump” (like the heart!) to circulate it around in the body. The mechanical system inflates and deflates intermittently to mimic natural blood flow, stimulating both flood flow and lymph fluid flow (and drainage).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A lymphatic massage compression suit works by applying controlled, rhythmic pressure to different areas of the body, stimulating the lymphatic system. The suit is equipped with multiple air chambers that inflate and deflate in a sequence, mimicking the gentle, wave-like motion of manual lymphatic drainage. This process helps to:

Stimulate Lymph Flow: Encourages the movement of lymph fluid, which carries waste and toxins away from tissues.

Reduce Swelling: Helps alleviate fluid retention and improve circulation.

Enhance Detoxification: Promotes the elimination of metabolic waste and toxins from the body.

Support Recovery: Reduces muscle soreness and inflammation after physical activity.

Relax Muscles: Provides a soothing, massaging effect that relaxes tense muscles.

The treatment is non-invasive, and sessions typically last 20–45 minutes, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE SESSION?

Your Lymphatic Drainage Compression Suit session is comfortable and fully automated. You’ll wear the compression suit, which wraps around your legs, arms, and/or torso, depending on your treatment area.

The system will then inflate and deflate in gentle, rhythmic waves, applying pressure to stimulate lymph flow and circulation. Most sessions last 20 to 60 minutes, allowing you to relax, read, or meditate while the suit does all the work.

After the session, you may feel lighter, less bloated, and more energized, with many people experiencing immediate relief from swelling and fluid retention.
